Fun Stuff

Here's a little update on what we did this weekend. Chris, me, Duke and baby went up to Lancaster to visit Chris' family. The main purpose of the trip was to go to Chris' cousins wedding. Below is a picture of us before we left for the wedding. It was a lot of fun and nice to see everyone. On Sunday we came back home for my sister's graduation from high school. I have to get a picture of us from her. The weather was wonderful this weekend! Spring is really here and summer will be here soon. I have only one more season to be pregnant!

I can't wait till the baby furniture gets delivered and we can set up the nursery. I will post pictures. The furniture is all white and the walls and carpet are white as well. The theme is alphabet soup (basically the alphabet) and its very brightly colored. All the accessories have been purchased off my registry for it so I'm excited to arrange everything. Its neutral so it will go with either a boy or girl. Plus, its educational and me being a teacher it works. LOL

I'm 24 weeks which is a big marker because the baby is considered "viable" at this point (it would have an 80% chance of survival if it was born now) let's hope thats not the case. This is also the beginning of the 3rd trimester! Time flies :) I will most likely go overdue because all of my brothers and sisters were and all my cousins that have had kids have been the same way. I can feel it kick and move strongly now. It usually does in the morning (to wake me up) and at night (when I go to bed). Chris has felt the baby move a lot while I was asleep! LOL It rests during the day with occasional movements. Everything went well at my OB appointment. I gained 3 pounds so now I weigh 101 pounds. The baby is still measuring average in size. We got to hear the heartbeat again! Yay!

  1. It is so amazing that you are in your third trimester! and also great that you are past the point of viability. I am really looking forward to seeing the nursery!
