Snow Day

Just a quick update on us and some pics of Christopher. Today Chris and I had a snow day and were able to get a lot of house work done. Mostly going through stuff in the basement (we got rid of a ton of stuff), either donating things or throwing them away in preparation for the move to our new house. I did laundry, vacuuming, ironing, and cooking, in addition to taking care of Christopher. Honestly, he is such a hand full, I don't know how I do it all when Chris isn't here to help. Uggg...I was somewhat annoyed about a snow day today because I was supposed to pick up digital copies of my wedding pics. With those I will be able to share my professional pics online and make re-copies whenever I want (I will own the rights).

I'm giving up computer time for lent, so I haven't disappeared and I'm not super busy. Actually, this Internet break has been good because I caught up on things around the house and I'm finishing embroidering something for Christopher which I started when I was pregnant. I'll post pics of the finished product soon.

Finally, I took pics of Christopher in his Christening gown. The gown was a 3-6 month size, so it fits him now better than when he was baptized at 4 weeks. I've been wanting to take these pics for a long time, I had it all envisioned. lol! They were taken in my room and the nursery, and the tulle in the background is my wedding veil (a Lazaro veil) which I LOVE and wanted to use in some way. When we move I want to hang the veil over the crib as a canopy. Has anyone re-used something from their wedding for another purpose? I heard people using their wedding dress to make a Christening gown, but share anything you've done or plan to do.
