25 weeks

Face at 25 weeks. Look at those chipmunk cheeks!
The baby looks a lot like Christopher with the turned up nose and fat cheeks!
Me so big at 25 weeks! I gained 15 pounds thus far, so crazy!

Still have a ways to go, but I'm getting closer and definitely bigger! I had another ultrasound yesterday because they couldn't get all the measurements they needed last time. This time success, and it was quick and easy! The tech let us watch the baby for a few mins afterwards and the baby was being so cute! S/he kept opening and closing it's mouth, moving it's hands, and did a little stretch. I think it's so cool that they do everything in the womb that they do after their born. The baby has grown! I think it looks a lot like Christopher, especially the chipmunk cheeks :) Chris really thinks it's a girl and I still think boy. I really want to know and it gets harder not knowing as time goes on!

Anyway, I feel less prepared at this point than I did with Christopher. By this time with Christopher, the nursery was completely ready, clothes, and EVERYTHING else. I mean every little thing was done and to perfection by 5mos along if not earlier. Of course ironically since I was so prepared I went a week and 3 days overdue. This time I'm not sure why I haven't gotten things done. Maybe because Christopher is using the nursery and playpen, etc. or because I have a lot of things out right now for him and don't want to set up more or because I have everything I need and feel like it's so accessible that I don't need to worry about it right now or that I'm so busy with Christopher? Any other moms experience this the 2nd time around?

What I do know is that I'm going to need to make an effort to get this stuff done! My to-do-list includes: washing and better organizing ALL the baby clothes (not sure if I should do the boy stuff too? That's one hard thing with not finding out), assembling the cradle, washing the carrier, purchasing the double stroller, cozy cover, diapers and more bottles, packing my bag and putting the car seat in my car, freezing at least a week (if not more) worth of meals and finally setting up the swing and other baby equipment again. So much more to do, but that's the major stuff. Hopefully making this list will help me accomplish stuff. Anyone who's done this twice have any advice/suggestions about how to go about these tasks the 2nd time around? What did you do that worked or didn't work? Please help!
