FMF

Here's my Fun Mom Friday post! We went to the Winterthur Museum today and had loads of fun (could have been better if it wasn't so humid out!) The grounds were beautiful and if I had more time (and a free hand) I would have been able to photograph it better. There was a "please touch" section of the museum which is where Christopher played with real antiques from the 1700's! There was also a "secret garden" for kids with little tree houses and ponds. Very fun day :)
The grounds were gorgeous, I want to go back sometime to take better photos
In a huge bird's nest
My baby bird!
Now if only I could get him to cook a "real" dinner...
He was busy lighting the fire

  2. That bird's nest is really fun! I love kid-friendly places like that. Madeline did the dishes for me today, maybe I'll start teaching her about the cooking dinner part. :)

  3. This place looks really neat! I will have to look it up and see if it is anywhere near me. Also, I checked out the FMF blog/website and was wondering if you plan your own FMF events and if you go to these places alone or with other moms that have children around the same age?? Thanks for sharing!
