I Made It!

Through the 1st trimester :) Having more good days, but still some bad ones (sickness wise). I've been taking the Zofran on the bad ones and it's working for me. Thank you so much for everyone's encouragement and reassurance on taking it. We should hear the heartbeat at my appointment next week.

Over the weekend I had Chris take some photos of me since everyone has been requesting to see my "baby bump" and I had him get some head shots of me too since I got my hair cut. I had side swept bangs put in for a change, but without thinking I tucked them behind my ears for these pics...so I'll have to try again so people can see them.
More updates to come!

  3. Hey! Question for you. I remember reading a while ago that you do not have cable television, do you not have a television in general or do you just have like the basic 3, 6, 10, etc? And do you let the boys watch television of any sort? Either way, will that change as they boys (and baby) get older? I'm very curious about parenting and television rules, not with you but with everyone.

Oh. And congrats on Baby #3!! What a wonderful blessing from God!!

  4. We have basic (channels 3, 6, 10, 12, etc) TV. I let the boys watch one kid show per day (usually in the morning while I get ready). They watch Super Why! an educational, kid show on PBS. I grew up without cable and benefited from that a lot and spent way more time reading, playing or sewing. I think TV is okay as long as it's supervised, educational and limited.
