Tupler Technique: Week 3

I started week 3 today and I already see progress! Here are my measurements:

                Upper      Middle      Lower
Week 1      1.75           2                 1
Week 2        1             1.5             .50

In addition to the gaps closing up, I've also noticed they are not as deep. I'm not sure if I lost any inches around my waist because I didn't take any measurements, but I have noticed that my jeans are a little looser around the waist. So far, so good!

  1. I just want you to know that I'm following your progress with great interest. I'm interested in seeing if I have this problem too, but I'm nervous to self diagnose. I'm wondering if my osteopathic dr can diagnose for me!!! Anyhow, just wanted to say I'm impressed with you!

    1. About 1/3 of women have it after one child, 2/3 of women have it after two or more children. It's so common. Doctors don't know much about it, but a fitness trainer or instructor are knowledgable and could check for you. There's also workshops with free belly checks. If you go to "Beautiful After the Belly" blog you could see if there are any in your area. There's also the Tupler Technique Facebook page which is great if you have questions or need support from other women. Let me know if you have any questions!

  2. I too am watching your progress. I definitely have this separation, and I am doing some of the exercises (they were featured in Real Simple 2 months ago as the "30 Minutes and You're Done" workout. I even told my mom about it and now she's interested to find out if she has it too. I'm hoping to get the brace and such in a few weeks.

    1. Yes, it was in Real Simple! On Oprah and Dr Oz too. If you want you could borrow the DVD. It teaches the exercises. The program comes with a guidebook too of what to do each day. Let me know if you have any questions! Another one if my friends is doing the program too.
