Tupler Technique: Week 6

I finished week 6 of the program and just took two quick pictures (with my iPhone) of my progress. Yeah, I know you're dying of curiosity to see what my tummy looks like after 3 kids ;)
I stopped doing the head lifts this week because I think I was doing them incorrectly and opening the gap again. I've been following the rest of the program exactly though. I plan to continue the program for all 18 weeks or until everything becomes completely closed. My measurements are:

Upper: Closed?
Mid: 1.5-1.25 (much more shallow)
Lower: 1 (more shallow)

    1. Can not for the life of me find where I put the before photo, ugh!! There was definitely a difference though.

  2. Geez, I didn't look that good even before having ONE baby. I am super jealous. You have no stretch marks and are so thin! I wish I had the dedication to do what you're doing. Maybe one day. For now I've been being more food conscious and working my way into work out routines! Good job though Marj!

  3. Great job, Marjorie! After 6 weeks of doing the program, I'm down 3" in my waist and, between week 5 & week 6, I lost 1" in my lower abdomen as well. My pics at start, 3 wks., 4 wks., and 6 wks. show incredible progress.

I mentioned in an earlier post that I measured my diastasis at 2-4-3 the day before starting the program and I was not confident at all that I did it correctly. Well, at the 5-wk. mark I met w/ a Tupler licensee in Baltimore and she measured me at 2 shallow - 3 medium - 2 1/4 medium. So, I was way off, can't imagine what the gap was really! And, at the end of 6 wks., I still can't feel what I'm supposed to be feeling when doing the self-measuring so I'm just going to rely on the photos and the tape measurements.

Keep up the good work, it's obviously successful!

    1. You're so lucky you got to meet with a pro!! I never measured inches, so I don't know if I lost any. I did notice my jeans are a little looser. It sounds like you're making great progress! Keep updating me because I like having a "buddy" system. Keeps me accountable :)

    2. I was actually in Baltimore on business and looked her up. I'm planning on meeting her again at my 12-wk. mark. Go to her blog:
http://reclaimyourcore.blogspot.com she posted my story and some pics I sent her.

I've actually decided to become a certified fitness professional and hope to work with Julie Tupler in June so that I can teach this program to others...it's been that life-changing for me.

I'll keep following your progress as well.

    3. I replied again yesterday, not sure why it hasn't posted. Anyway, I was in Baltimore on business and looked up the licensee there, Tami Huber. Check out my story on her blog: http://reclaimyourcore.blogspot.com
She's also posted some of my before/after pics.

  4. Wow, if I look half as good as you do after having just one child I will be overjoyed! I have been following your blog for awhile now, but just recently started blogging myself and can finally comment! I've loved reading about your family and seeing your photography. I received a canon rebel for Christmas and went straight to the books you've recommended on this blog to learn how to use it the best I can. I promise I'm not a crazy stalker, (really!) I've just wanted to tell you for awhile how much I love your blog!

  6. Did your gap completely close? I just started week 3 and I have not noticed much of a difference in width or depth of my gap :( I am getting a little discouraged. FYI, Alissa referred me to your blog!!

    1. Yes, it did pretty much all the way. It took six weeks to see any results. In all I think it took 20 weeks to fully close. It's hard and discouraging, but it does work. I can wear a bikini again!
