July 4th Weekend

We spent the 4th of July in Bethany Beach, DE. It was SO hot with record breaking heat!
Flag shirts $4 at Children's Place Outlet.
We stayed cool on the beach and in the pool.
Lil' Lifeguard
We stayed cool on the beach and in the pool....
and the house reading the doing puzzles.
This 4th I was determined to get GOOD firework pictures. I made a deal with Chris: if I could take pictures without the kids on the beach, he could go golfing without the kids the next day. I lugged out my tripod and these are what I got....
I took about 100 photos and was so excited to edit them! Then I realized I had fingerprints on my lens and they were showing up in EVERY picture! I must have smudged the lens in the dark on the beach.
The 4th has always been one of my favorite holidays and still is! How did you enjoy?

  4. Amazing firework photos! When I took some with my iPhone, I was shocked at how well they turned out :) Yours are much more impressive though. And I love the photos of the three of them in their patriotic attire!

  5. I make deals with Ryan like that all the time! You can golf if I can (fill in the blank) by myself! He loves golfing so he will do practically anything. Tonight I am actually golfing with him. This is a big step because it's at the club he belongs to... :)
