Stone Harbor 2012

Finally getting around to blogging about the rest of our trip, earlier this month. On a very overcast day, we decided to take a walk on the beach. The lighting was perfect and there was no one around, so I was able to get good photos of the kids.
Many people wonder what I do with all my photos. Here is my process: Make a yearly photo album at the end of the year with lots of photos (great gift for family), print out a few of my top pictures to update frames in the house, take old photos out of frames and put the pictures in baby books or storage, share online. Now that I have a system in place, it's much more manageable.
Later that day it ended up raining, so we went to the coffee shop in the downtown area for a little treat. I hate coffee so just ended up drinking an ice chocolate sort of drink.
Another night we went to Wildwood's boardwalk. The kids rode a few rides and got funnel cake. The real fun for me was getting to take some night photos while Chris watched the kids ;)

  1. Oooh, the overcast beach day looks so dreamy. :) And we went to the wildwood beach for day trips almost every summer. Free beach and the boarwalk chapel affiliated with our church. Great memories!

  2. Beautiful! Did you use a tripod for the night photos? Or just find something to set your camera on for balance? I wanted to bring my tripod to our local carnival but I didn't want people to wonder what I was doing!
