Storybook Land, NJ 2012

We made our annual fall trip to Storybook Land about 2 weeks ago. It's not really in our budget, but I decided to take the kids here in lieu of going out to dinner for my birthday.
Storybook Land is a park themed around story book characters, especially nursery rhymes. It's neat to see how creative they get with incorporating rides into the park.
Rock a bye baby in the treetops
Butcher, baker and candlestick maker
Rather than go to a pumpkin patch, we go here because they offer hayrides and free pumpkin decorating. There's also an impossible hay maze which I can never find my way out of.
Humpty Dumpty
Jack and Jill's hill
Pumpkin decorating
Moby Dick
Hickory Dickory Dock ride
The kids are already asking about going next year :)

  1. You're kids will remember this for years! We went when I was younger, and I still have such fond memories!

  3. Such a mom thing, always putting the kids first. But it's true, nothing makes us happier than experiencing these things with our children.
