One of my unofficial goals for this year is to take more everyday photos of my kids. They used to be my primary focus before I started doing photography professionally. Now I find that when I have time off, the last thing I want to do is take out my camera again, but I don't want to miss this time.
This train table is set up in our guest bedroom. The boys have spent hours playing with it. I really like listening to Christopher when he plays because his stories have become more complex and funny. Grandparents and us as well buy them pieces for their collection for birthdays and holidays.
Evangeline in her new tutu she got for Christmas from her Gran! I love it. She can wear it all through the seasons by changing the tops and tights.

  1. What a great idea. I probably need to snap more of drew just playing as well!

  2. beautiful photos of your lovely home and darling lil' ones - blessed!

i'm actually attempting to not go for the camera as often so that i can be in the moment. finding a balance of living the memories and capturing the memories will definitely be a challenge.

  3. Beautiful photos! I'm glad you're taking more pictures of them in every day life :)

  4. I love your every day photos! I've been struggling to get my camera out regularly too and I don't even have a photography business as an excuse! I think winter does that to us!

Does Evie wear Babylegs sometimes? I think they would look so cute with her tutu!

    1. Yes, she does! I had them for the boys too. They are great and fun :)

  5. I think she should wear that tutu daily, get all the use you can out of it, it is so cute!

  6. I LOVE your blog! Your photos are all amazing and I am now following along so I can see all your cute updates. Keep it up girl!

  7. Little boys seem to LOVE trains! So cute. I love that they make up stories and get so into it.

  8. Everyday pictures are something to treasure! I am torn between being in the moment and being behind the camera often. I tend to take photos in spurts... Good luck!! I really wish I knew how Kelle Hampton did it :)

  9. Oh! These photos are adorable! You have such a lovely little family! :)

I'm a new follower! Love your blog!
