Tea Party

It's been too long since I've blogged. I've been busy selling items from around our house that we don't need/use and cleaning out. I've sold, donated, consigned and trashed. Our house is already pretty simple in that I don't have much "stuff," but I still clean out and challenge myself to part with things every few months.

Anyway, my sister gets married next Friday! We had Sunday tea for her two weeks ago. I wore this dress from Mod Cloth. Plan to do a little "photo session" showing it off once it warms up around here. I was disappointed with the quality of the dress though. The dress quality was that of $30 dress. Usually I spend around $24-$30 for dresses and the quality is so-so. For the price of this dress, it wasn't worth it. The problem was a couldn't find anything else in royal blue for the occasion.
Evie wore one of my favorite dresses by Baby Biscotti. Also seen photographed here :) No need to worry about her unruly hair. I have since brought a curling gel product to tame her curls ;)
I have a neat blog post in the works that I've seen some other bloggers do. Have a great weekend!

  2. We are so much alike, I just hate clutter! I don't have much of it and people always comment on how little junk I have for having a child, but I still feel the need to get rid of stuff. I like things simple. And you look amazing in that dress and Evie is a stunner! Truly gorgeous. We've missed you around here. :)

  5. I cannot get over how beautiful her blue eyes are! maybe one day for us ;)

Your blue dress looks really pretty on you, and from these pictures it looks like a nice dress. The quality disparity with modcloth is an issue. The designers are so diverse you just can never know what kinda quality you will get.

  6. I just have to say that Evie looks like a baby model in that photo! Gorgeous! I actually love her unruly hair with that headband.

That's frustrating about the dress, but it does look great on you! Did she request that you wear royal blue?
