Easter 2014

You know you're a photographer when...you're posting Easter photos after Memorial Day. I put clients first, so many of my personal photos end up on the back burner and I don't like to blog unless I have photos to go with it. Let's be real, most of us skim the reading and go straight to looking at the photos ;) I've also been blogging frequently here.

We spent this Easter at home with just the kids for the first time. We've been traveling for the last few holidays and I just wanted a change of pace.

My mother in law has been undergoing chemo for the last few months, so she wasn't up for visitors. My only sister in law got injured in a fall and spent the holiday in the hospital.

We did all the traditional Easter activities including dyeing eggs, baking pies, attending Mass and just relaxing.
Have to share all my kid's basket goodies I got from Dollar Tree! I spent a grand total of $23. I tried to stay away from candy and brought art and outdoor activity kits instead. They did each get two pieces of candy (everything in moderation).

Had to have the boys wear these adorable seersucker suits and bow ties from Target one more time this year. Evie's dress and headband is from Janie and Jack.

How did you spend your Easter holiday/spring break? With all the snow we got this winter there wasn't much of a spring break for us this year.
