Storybook Land 2014

Our annual trip to Storybook Land was perfect this year. I took off from work completely for the day which made a huge difference in relieving stress and allowing me to enjoy time with my kids.
We went in October right before Halloween. There's several Halloween themed activities included in the admission price for the month of October which is why we go at that time of year.

The weather was great and it was not as crowded as year's past. We went with my sister this year and her family.

We went on a hayride around the park and decorated pumpkins once we finished. The pumpkins are free with admission!

I'm in love with Evie's Minnetonka Moccasins she got for her birthday (recommended by Grace).
Jack and Jill's hill is always a hit with the kids...

We stayed at the park nearly all day and planned for dinner at Chick-fil-a afterward to save money on eating in the park.

I love that the amusement park is based on classic nursery rhyme themes. The kids love seeing and interacting with stories they have read about at home or school.

See you next year Storybook Land!
